Medallion Trail Hart Refreshed: Interchangeable Tips, Adjustable Positioning
Every Trail Hart build ends up somewhere different. A stock Tacoma that stays clean on the pavement. A 4Runner three inches taller than it left the factory. A Land Cruiser wearing an off-road bumper, a bash plate, and a replacement valance that moved the whole rear end two inches forward. The exhaust that fits one of them perfectly doesn’t necessarily fit the next.
That’s the problem the refreshed Medallion Trail Hart was built to solve.
Today Revel USA is introducing a significant update to the Trail Hart lineup — a redesigned tip system with two interchangeable finishes and a custom clamp that lets you position the tip exactly where your build needs it. The engineering underneath hasn’t changed. The way it meets your truck has.
Interchangeable Exhaust Tips: Alpine Silver and Black Gunmetal
The Trail Hart tip is now available in two distinct finishes, and both use the same mounting interface.

Black Gunmetal goes the other direction. A darker, deeper finish for builds running blacked-out trim, bronze or black wheels, or anyone who wants the exhaust to disappear into the rear of the vehicle rather than announce itself.

Alpine Silver is a polished stainless finish — a cleaner, brighter profile that catches light against a dark bumper or picks up the color of the terrain around it. It’s the finish that reads as engineered rather than blacked-out.
Both are dual-wall, angle-cut, and laser-etched with the Revel mark. Both carry the same large inner diameter for modern aesthetics and increased exit flow. The choice is entirely about how you want the back of your rig to read.
And because the tips share a common interface, you’re not locked in at checkout. Pick the finish that fits the build today. Add the other one when the build changes — new wheels, new bumper, new direction. The tip is a component now, not a permanent decision.
Adjustable Tip Positioning
This is the part that took the most engineering.
The distance from the exhaust outlet to the back of the bumper is never the same twice. Lift kits change the geometry. Off-road bumpers push the rear fascia out or pull it in. Replacement valances and bash plates shift the reference point entirely. A fixed-position tip that sits flush on a stock truck can end up buried — or sticking out awkwardly — on a modified one.

The refreshed Trail Hart uses a custom-designed clamp that holds the interchangeable tip on the pipe while allowing it to slide forward or back along the axis. Push it out for a more aggressive stance. Tuck it in for a flush, factory-clean look. Set the position you want, torque the clamp down, and it stays there.
It’s a small adjustment with a real consequence. The tip you want, where you want it — without cutting, welding, or settling for whatever the factory bracket dictated.
The Engineering Hasn’t Changed
Everything that earned the Trail Hart its reputation is still there, unchanged.

Each system is constructed from full SUS304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance against road salt, trail dust, and river crossings. The piping uses 1.5mm wall thickness for increased strength and reduced resonation — a heavier gauge than you’ll find on most systems, and the reason the Trail Hart stays quiet at cruise instead of droning.
All piping is mandrel bent to ensure the diameter stays consistent throughout the system, which optimizes exhaust flow, sound flow, and overall quality. Every system is fully hand TIG welded and uses laser cut flanges that are stronger for more durable connections.
Inside the muffler, Advantex packing material offers superior flow characteristics while offering great sound suppression. It’s a highly advanced muffler packing material that greatly excels over other types such as loosely-packed fiberglass materials and composite cube types, and it’s heat resistant up to 1200º F — which extends the functional life of the exhaust system well beyond what conventional packing manages.
The Turn Down Pipe, Still Exclusive to Trail Hart
The optional Turn Down Pipe remains available and remains exclusive to the Trail Hart series. It provides a shorter exhaust exit for those who need extra clearance while traveling off-road — over steep approach angles, rock shelves, and anywhere the departure angle matters more than the aesthetics.
It’s the one feature that most clearly separates Trail Hart from a street exhaust, and it’s still sold separately for the builds that need it.

Broader Fitment Across Toyota and Lexus
The refreshed Trail Hart lineup covers body-on-frame Toyota and Lexus platforms from 1998 through 2025:
Toyota — 4Runner (2003–2024, 2025), Tacoma V6 (2016–2022), Tacoma (2024), Tundra (2022), Land Cruiser (1998–2007, 2008–2021, 2024, 2025), Sequoia (2023–2025).
Lexus — GX 470 (2005–2009), GX 460 (2010–2023), GX 550 (2025), LX 470 (1998–2007), LX 570 (2015–2021)
Most applications are now available in all three configurations: Alpine Silver, and Black Gunmetal.
Built on Thirty Years of Manufacturing
Revel is backed by over 30 years of product development experience through Tanabe USA. The goal has never changed: quality automotive parts focused on manufacturing quality and long lasting performance while still maintaining proper aesthetics. By never compromising on quality, potential is unlimited.
The Trail Hart refresh is that philosophy applied to a specific reality — that the people running these systems keep modifying their vehicles, and the exhaust should be able to keep up.
